I am a Bangladeshi UX and Technical writer. I have seen something that needs to change In The Shipping Region Picker For Pixel 6 Phones Landing Page at GOOGLE.

First, I go to the Google products landing page and scroll in the interface of picture number 1. I clicked on the red-marked area.

After that, Google took me into the interface of picture number 2.

Here, I can see the UX writing lackings. Now the UX writing is “We aren’t in your region yet”. Which I marked with red color.

Actually, “We aren’t in your region yet” this UX writing seems very very negative. UX writers use “NOT” directly to the user.

As a user, when I saw this microcopy. It made a negative impression on Google stores.

So, the UX writing should be “We are coming in your region very soon” or “We are coming in your region as soon as possible”.

See, these two microcopies are so positive and the user will never get disappointed. That’s why Google needs to improve the current microcopy.

In picture number 3, I marked another microcopy with red color for improvement.

The marked area has a microcopy that says “You can still browse our products in any of the other regions.”. As a user, I always browse everything mostly. Everyone does, I do think. However, I want to see the Google products here.

In this case, the UX writers wrote “You can still browse our products in any of the other regions.” it does not seem to take action easily, but “You can still see our products in other regions” or another easier one “Still, you can see other regions products” does.

Every company needs to make the microcopy in micro shape.

So, the microcopy could be “You can still see our products in other regions” or another easier one “Still, you can see other regions products”. Of course not the bigger one.
